Friday Video: Learning Edition

Folk singer Roy Zimmerman teaches creation science! Woo!

Thanks to Don Imus, we learned that it’s not OK to call women “nappy headed hos” on TV. We also learned that Michelle Malkin will defend any amount of bigotry, as long as it comes from a white person.

***

We’ve also recently learned that uberCatholic Bill Donohue can be offended by even the most innocuous depictions of Jesus. I think that Bill would probably like this comparison of Catholics and Protestants.

Jon Stewart points out that Bush can show that he’s making progress in Iraq, but only if he learns how to reverse the flow of time.

Here’s an interview with a guy who is determined not to learn anything: John Bolton.

Here’s something that the Iraq War taught me: Ann Coulter is the stupidest person on earth. Here she is explaining that Baghdad is just like Los Angeles.

One more War on Terra video: the world’s largest illegal gun factory, in Pakistan. Ever wonder why the Taliban always seems to have access to weapons?

In an attempt to help educate the public about global warming, the people behind Second Life have been periodically flooding their virtual world. Katie of Liberal Debutante has the write-up.

Katie also linked to this video, which isn’t very educational at all. It is entertaining, though.

I think this video might become the next “Numa Numa.”

Just when you thought the Japanese couldn’t get any weirder…

Animal Videos

Here’s a compilation of funny elephant clips.

Here’s another funny thing that elephants do.

Here’s something you probably didn’t want to know about elephants.

I don’t think that this hippo video really belongs in this collection.

Most Amazing Video

I kept the video list a bit short this week, because of the length of this video. It’s a 20 minute survey of the economies of the developing world, presented with the help of an incredible graphic display.

Games! Woo!

I’m only linking to one game this week, the Shockwave Daily Jigsaw. There have been a lot of attempts at making a playable online jigsaw puzzle, but this is the only one I’ve seen that’s really successful. A new jigsaw is available every day.

If you’re looking to kill a little time, this is the perfect weapon.
