Malkin: Comedy Central Conspiracy

23rd March 2006
by gordo

South Park has put Malin's panties in a twist

Another day, another conspiracy

Michelle Malkin has spotted yet another example of left wing perfidy. She links to this story by Doug TenNepal about Comedy Central. Apparently, Comedy Central has refused to re-air an episode lampooning Scientology. Malkin and TenNapel are upset because Comedy Central refused to censor an earlier episode, “Bloody Mary,” that some Catholics found offensive.

TenNapel rants:

If Hollywood does continue to discriminate against Christians, conservatives or Southerners, they must give up the label of tolerance, progressive, or even “Liberal”…and the thought of giving up that badge of honor is high blasphemy to the religion of the anti-religious.

Clever, huh? The religion of the anti-religious? Get it? Only one problem: Comedy Central did censor the “Bloody Mary” episode, and in exactly the same way.

But don’t worry, Malkin fans! She’ll be back with another left-wing conspiracy next week!

I liked Michelle Malkin before she had a face lift or whatever she did to change her looks - and she looks better when she smiles. :)

Malkin constantly rails against the Democratic Party as the “party of conspiracy theories” but she constantly subscribes to new ones all the time.

Every time Malkin screams bloody murder (no pun intended) over some supposed conspiracy against the Right, I am constantly reminded of her book that says, via the expose by David Neiwert on Malkin’s recent book, Unhinged:

“[T]he truth is that it’s conservatives themselves who blow the whistle on their bad boys and go after the real extremism on their side of the aisle.”[p. 9]

And while conservatives zealously police their own ranks to exclude extremists and conspiracy theories, extremism and conspiracy theories have become the driving force of the Democrat Party. [p. 169]

Let me remind you that she thinks Arabs and Japanese-American civil libertarians are aligned to destroy the U.S. in addition to subscribing to the “War on Christmas.”

(It won’t let me link the first conspiracy theory but it is linked at my site)

    Matt–

I’ve got the link to your site right here, for those who are interested.

The software I use to keep spam out of these comments only allows 2 links per comment. When you tried to include 3, it put your comment aside for my approval. Sorry it took so long to get your comment approved, but I wasn’t aware until now that it had been censored (this is the first time this has happened to anyone but me).

I’ll try to make sure you’re not in a “spammer list” on my site so you don’t have to go through this process in the future.

Sweet, thanks. As for Malkin and her delusion that the Left is the side of conspiracies, perhaps she should look into the mirror and realize she’s the one wear the tin foil hat and the kool aid in hand.

    Matt–

Rest assured that I have that photo of her with the tinfoil on file, as I’m sure I’ll be using it again.

Can I admit here, I have never seen or heard of this woman. Confession is so good for the soul.

    Clif–

There are more links leading to Malkin’s site than to any other political site on the internet.

Part of it is the fact that she used to be a professional journalist, so she knows how to write an engaging story. Part of it is the fact that she links to other sites a lot, and creates a reciprocal effect. A lot of it is the fact that she never lets the facts get in the way of a good story, so there’s a lot of red meat there for people to people to chew on.
